About Me

     Hi there! I'm Reese (ree-see) and I currently live in the Lake County area. I've been certified since June 2018. I started off as a participant who grew to love it and ultimately decided to pursue a part-time career in it. 
     My first classes took place at my university, Valparaiso University, which went from in-person classes to virtual ones halfway through after the pandemic hit. During the summer, I would teach at the Waukegan Field House, which lasted for a couple of years. Some additional experience as an instructor took place overseas. While studying abroad my final year of college, I organized a few classes for the students at the academic center there as well. Now, I teach at my own partnered studio!
     My classes are structured to meet every person and experience level and I always make sure to provide accommodations when needed! I incorporate both beginner and intermediate levels. I also like to explore outside of Latin styles, which is the origin of Zumba, adding mainstream hip hop and pop music to my choreography. Although I teach my own classes, I am always open to teaching at and hosting special events.
